The surging Baltimore Orioles and the flailing Tampa Bay Rays square off again tonight as part of a 15-game MLB Friday schedule. The Orioles (59-37) trailed the Rays by 6.5 games in the AL East entering this month. Now they lead by one game after Thursday's 4-3 victory. It was the fifth straight loss for Tampa Bay (60-40) and its 12th in its past 15 games. Meanwhile, the Orioles have won 10 of their past 12, and they are 4-2 against the Rays this season. The loaded MLB Friday schedule also features an interleague battle between first-place teams as the AL West's Texas Rangers face the Los Angeles Dodgers of the NL West.
